There are a range of activities on offer at the Gin Gin Neighbourhood Centre for the community to enjoy over the coming months.
Highlights include a Cooking on a Budget demonstration, International Women’s Day Breakfast and a celebration of Harmony Day.
The Gin Gin Community Hub will also be hosting one of Council’s Rainbow Community Café events where locals can join a conversation with Bundaberg's LGBTIQAP+ community.
Cooking on a Budget

Gin Gin Rainbow Café at the Hub
The Community Development team in collaboration with community will be hosting Rainbow LGBTIQAP+ Community Cafe's.
These will be run in groups of 20-30 across several locations, including online.
Sessions will be run using World Cafe principles to facilitate conversations in small groups of 4-5, with the hope to encourage intergenerational and intersectional discussions.
The sessions aim to provide a safe environment for community to come together in support of one another to discuss the barriers, challenges and gaps that exist in the region.

International Women’s Day Breakfast
The day marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality and acknowledging how we can enhance and foster women’s empowerment.
On this day you will hear from local speakers about their experiences as women change makers.

Dream Catchers – Makerspace
Join our Crafter in Residence, Mel to create, have fun, learn new craft skills and make friends in a relaxed environment.
