Slimy, squishy and sensory play at the library

Messy sensory fun for the under 6s
Children under six will have the chance to get their hands into slimy, squishy play at the upcoming Messy Play events.

Encouraging the exploration of play, children under six will have the chance to get their hands into slimy, squishy play at the upcoming Messy Play events hosted by the Bundaberg Regional Libraries.

Messy play will be full of sensory discoveries for little ones and their families to enjoy.

Little explorers will be given the opportunity to practice fine and gross motor skills, whilst uncovering sensory mysteries during the fun learning experience

Engaging in the messy activities will also encourage social and language skill development, while fostering curiosity and imagination.

The sensory event has been designed to be self-guided, but parents and carers are encouraged to join in and make meaningful memories with their children.

Little ones will also have the opportunity to have their face painted during the sessions.

Prepare for messy fun outdoors by wearing old clothes and bringing a hat, sunscreen, water and a snack.
