Enhancing Spaces: Public Art Business Breakfast, an arts industry networking event hosted by CQUniversity’s Regional Arts Services Network and Bundaberg Regional Council aims to help demystify the process of public art.
Featuring visual artist and creative producer Katie Whyte, the event on Friday 12 April will discuss the value of working with artists and what this can bring to businesses and community spaces.
Katie specialises in large scale site-specific murals, having undertaken numerous corporate and commercial commissions throughout Southeast Queensland.
At the breakfast event, Katie will outline the opportunities of public art to businesses, advising on how to successfully commission public artworks and work with artists to enhance public spaces.
