Bundaberg Regional Council is currently upgrading the intersection of Commercial Street, Production Street and Brickworks Circuit in Svensson Heights.
Work is expected to be undertaken weekdays between the hours of 6 am and 5 pm, however some weekend work maybe required.
The asphalt surfacing will be carried out as night works between the hours of 6 pm and 6 am.
Works will require the intersection to be closed to all traffic with detours in place and appropriate signage will be displayed to guide road users.
Weather permitting, work will be completed by late June.
During construction, sections of the roads will be subject to traffic management measures.
The site supervisor will liaise directly with affected businesses to facilitate property access during construction.
Bundaberg Regional Council is aware of the inconvenience road work can cause and thanks residents and road users in advance for their patience and co-operation.
The Commercial Street, Production Street and Brickworks Circuit, Svensson Heights Intersection Upgrade is a joint initiative of Bundaberg Regional Council and the Queensland Government.
