Amber is available for adoption from Red Collar Rescue.

Amber is a one-year-old mixed breed who is available for adoption from Red Collar Rescue.

Having had an unsteady life to begin with, Amber is a precious girl who requires a very special home with very special people.

Six-foot fencing is a must, as she is very frightened of the outside world and she did get on the outside of the fence, she may well just keep running, which is why a fence is very important

She is jumpy and may always be jumpy although she is extremely loving, and a real clown once she gets to know and trust you.

Having been dumped as part of a litter, they had to fend for themselves for a long time, resulting in her being injured prior to being saved.

A home with quiet people with predictable lifestyles would be ideal plus another dog, as she is very playful when she feels safe.

She is desexed, vaccinated and wormed.

Amber is $400 to adopt, and you can find out more about her here.

About Red Collar Rescue

Red Collar Rescue Inc. was established in 2009 and became a registered organisation in late 2010 with the primary aim of providing temporary refuge and eventually new homes for
abandoned, abused, unwanted and death row dogs.

The independent, non-profit, non-government funded organisation is run primarily by Sharyn and Russell Banks.

All dogs coming to Red Collar Rescue are vet checked, vaccinated, wormed and desexed prior to being made available for sale to the public.

Prices range from $200 upwards for dog adoption.

The refuge is managed by an unpaid, elected committee, with all funds coming from fundraising and donations.

The refuge operates from a 160 acre property at Woowoonga, near Biggenden.
