Keep an eye on Channel Ten's Taste of Australia with Hayden Quinn today at 4.30 pm which will feature some of the Bundaberg Region's culinary offerings and natural wonders.

Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) will be visiting the Bundaberg Region this week to facilitate a number of career-based activities, engaging local students and job seekers as they look to career opportunities in the tourism industry.

A tourism culinary campaign which will be rolled out nationally between May and August is encouraging travellers to sip, swirl and taste their way through the Bundaberg Region this winter.

Local residents and visitors to the region are being encouraged to vote in an upcoming awards event to help crown Bundaberg the title of Top Tourism Town.

The Bundaberg Region’s eco-tourism credentials are being highlighted on the national stage among industry leaders after being named in the top 100 sustainable destinations in the world.

The Bundaberg Region has been named as one of seven finalists from across Queensland for the Top Tourism Town Award.
