Puddles Car and Dog Wash could become a one-stop washing shop if a proposed laundromat development is given the green light at the Bundaberg East facility.
Bundaberg Regional Council recently received a Material Change of Use application for the car wash and laundromat situated at 57 Princess Street, Bundaberg East.
The application states the proposal would value-add and diversify the existing commercial Puddles Car and Dog Wash business by allowing users of the site the ability to wash vehicles, pets and clothing items in the one location.
According to the application, the proposed development would maintain the existing car wash and include an additional new building if approved.
Additional parking and a manoeuvring area would also be included to facilitate the proposed laundromat.
If approved, the proposed laundromat would be a fit-for-purpose and functional building and be 50 square metres in size and 2.7 metres in height with an exterior of rendered block cladding.
The application states the development would also feature dedicated landscape strips along frontages while the western and northern boundary and the building would have a modern finish in corporate colours.
