The Moncrieff Entertainment Centre has just launched its new program featuring a huge variety of world-class acts to entertain the community.
Council’s Arts, Culture and Events portfolio spokesperson Cr John Learmonth said he was excited by the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre’s first program for 2024.
“In February and March, we will see the cream of the Queensland art companies take to the centre stage,” Councillor Learmonth said.
“Outstanding tribute shows, live entertainment and free community screenings have also been programmed to suit all entertainment tastes.
“The Moncrieff Entertainment Centre has created an Arts Triple Threat Pack which showcases world-class ballet, opera and theatre productions.
“This subscription deal is the perfect opportunity for the community to enjoy the performing arts in all its forms.”
Starting the entertainment line-up for the year in February is the Vanessa Quai Pacific Songbird show.
This inspirational show features two highly respected musicians, Vanessa Quai and Melissa Buchholz who have forged individual careers and are now coming together from across the Pacific.
Not to be missed is the Queensland Ballet’s QB on Tour 2024 performance, featuring four glittering works from their vault, in a balletic feast for the senses.
Celebrating the 75th anniversary of Bundaberg Legacy and the 100th anniversary of Legacy Australia, the Band of the 1st Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery will present a unique concert to the Bundaberg community.
This show will serve as a major fundraising initiative, with all proceeds raised going to Bundaberg Legacy to assist it in carrying on its charitable works.
Legendary Australian artist, Ian Moss will perform at the theatre in March, celebrating the release of his new album.
Ian will be performing his iconic hits and hitting the stage alongside him, will be some special guests.
The new program also includes the Year Ahead Calendar, which is a fantastic entertainment guide for 2024.
