Queensland Beach Volleyball Tour coming to Elliott Heads

Elliott Heads will host the final round of the Queensland Beach Volleyball Tour on 2-3 March, featuring some of the best volleyball talent in the state.

The tour provides a competitive environment for Queensland’s elite and developing athletes who aspire for Olympic honours.

Events are held throughout Queensland, from the Gold Coast to Cairns.

The most recent competition in Rockhampton attracted 40 teams of two players.

Danielle King and Vanessa Green won in Rockhampton and lead the women’s rankings.

Elliott Heads is developing a reputation as a destination for major events after hosting the recent Wind Slasher kite surfing competition.

Bundaberg Regional Council is spending $4 million to implement streetscape improvements as part of the Elliott Heads Foreshore Masterplan.
