Bundaberg Regional Council is reminding ratepayers that rate notices, issued on February 5, are due for payment by Monday 11 March.
Paying the total amount by the due date will save ratepayers 10 per cent on their General Rates.
Payment can be made by any of the various payment options listed on the back of rate notices.
Residents can pay their rates electronically until midnight on 11 March and receive their discount on general rates, provided they pay all rates and charges and any arrears that are owing.
Council advises ratepayers to keep an electronic record of payment in case proof of payment is required to receive the discount in the event of a delay in bank processing.
Ratepayers have until close of business on Monday 11 March to make payment in person at any of Council’s service centres located at Bundaberg, Bargara, Childers and Gin Gin.
Anyone experiencing difficulty in paying their rates can contact Council’s Debt Management Team on 1300 883 699 to confidentially discuss payment options.
If you haven’t received your rate notice yet, contact Council on 1300 883 699 as soon as possible.
