The Bundaberg Region had its coolest morning of the year so far after light rain over the past couple of days signalled a change in the season.
The overnight temperature dipped below 14 degrees this morning at Bundaberg Airport for the first time since October.
The Monday forecast is for an overnight low of 11 degrees, rising to 25 during the day.
Woodgate recorded the highest two-day rainfall total, with 13mm since Friday.
Other rainfall tallies include: Moore Park Beach 12mm, Bundaberg 10, Cordalba 9, Gin Gin 7.
The Bundaberg forecast is for sunny weather throughout the rest of this week, with cooler mornings and the maximum temperature falling to 24 degrees by next weekend.
The Queensland forecast is that dry air will extend over much of the state with fine and mostly sunny conditions for most parts.
There's a slight to medium chance of showers about the far northeast in the onshore winds. A cool day is expected on Monday over the interior of the state with the slight chance of a light frost on the Granite Belt.
From Thursday to Saturday, temperatures are likely to drop to several degrees below average with frosts likely about parts of the southeast interior on Saturday.
