Plans for the annual Taste Bundaberg Festival are well underway and stallholders are being called upon to submit their expressions of interest for the popular farmers market event.

This year, the Taste Bundaberg Farmers Market will be held in an all-new location, with the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct set to transform into a space filled with fine produce and plenty of hustle and bustle when it kicks off on Saturday 6 August from 7 am to 2 pm.

Council's Arts, Culture and Events portfolio spokesperson Cr John Learmonth said stallholder applications were now open and local producers and businesses were encouraged to take part in the much-loved event.

“The market is definitely a highlight in the Taste Bundaberg Festival program and every year the event sees thousands of people meandering through the fantastic local stalls to experience and enjoy the best of what our region has to offer,” he said.

“Not only is it a wonderful event to attend, it is also a great market to be part of with the guarantee of a huge audience made up of locals and visitors alike to showcase your product.”
