PENNANT RESULTS
Division 1 Knockout Final: Burnett def ATW 63-47 and will now play Bargara in the Grand Final on Saturday. Division 3 Knockout Final: Burnett def Gin Gin 61-54 and will now play Bargara in the Grand Final on Saturday. Division 4 Round 6: Burnett def Woodgate 41-40 and Division 5 Round 6 lost ICM on Forfeit.
This weekend Divisions 1, 3 & 4 will play in their respective Grand Finals, all of which will be played at Bundaberg Club. Division 4 will be playing against Woodgate. Great result for Burnett for having 3 teams make the Grand Final. Good luck and good bowling to all selected players for the Grand Finals.

Tuesday 6th September: Burnett Bonza Pairs (Men’s, Ladies, Mixed) 2 games of 11 ends with Winners Vs Winners and Losers playing Losers in the second game. This month overall winners will be decided by adding together the number of ends won in both games. First and Second game winners will also be decided by the most number of ends won. Names in by 12pm, green fees paid by 12.45pm for a 1 pm start. The 1 bowl Jackpot is currently $160.
Wednesday 7th September: ‘Scroungers’ Singles – this is a fun game of Singles similar to consistency singles where points are allocated to the 4 closest bowls to the jack. Games are played over 12 ends with no driving allowed. Names in by 6.15pm with games starting at 6.30pm. green fees are $8 with 50 percent of the green fees being returned as prizemoney. All ability levels welcome so come along for a fun night out.
Thursday 8th September: ‘Thirsty Thursday’ Open Pairs. 3pm start, names by 2.30pm. Free drink (Sponsored) included in green fees. Games will finish at 5pm with two random lucky draws as prizes.

Club opening hours are – Monday (Club closed), Tuesday 10am – 5.30pm, Wednesday 10am – 9pm, Thursday 11am – 9pm, Friday 10am – 9pm, Saturday 10am – 6pm (10pm for Functions) Sunday Bowls Days 9am – 2pm.
The Goose Club raffle will be drawn on Friday night at 7pm. The Member’s Draw is now at $170, so come along, have a meal and a few drinks with the chance to win some great cash and prizes.
Live entertainment for this Friday night the 9th September will be Bradz Rock N Rhythms and the following Friday the 16th September, live music will be delivered by Old Habits. Members, Guests, and visitors are always welcome.
