Bundaberg Regional Council staff put down the razor last month raising funds to change the face of men’s health and support Movember 2022.

Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

Since Council’s involvement in 2018 more than $30,000 has been raised by staff for the worthy cause.

Team Captain Tony Daniels said he was really excited about this year’s team which had 51 members raising a total of $8255 to support men’s health.

“Since our involvement with Movember four years ago, our BRC teams have raised a total of $30,072,” he said.

“This year we placed sixth in the National Mo Council Challenge which is significant given it was the larger metropolitan councils that were ahead of us.
