On Saturday 22 July community members are invited to attend the Bundaberg Multiplex Sport and Convention Centre open day to see firsthand what the facility has to offer.

Bundaberg Regional Council‘s Sport and Recreation portfolio spokesperson Cr Vince Habermann said with its unique multipurpose design, the Multiplex provided an extensive range of spaces under the one roof,

“The exhibition hall, spanning over 1000 square metres, is suitable for conferences and other large functions and boasts a full-size sporting court and retractable courtside stadium seating for over 700 attendees,” he said.

Bundaberg Multiplex Sport and Convention Centre is a purpose-built state-of-the-art facility which catered for all expo’s, conferences, meetings, and sporting events small and large.

“There are two function rooms which are available for individual hire or as breakout spaces, both with built-in audio-visual technology.

“The foyer and bar area provides an on-site option for welcome receptions, with the alfresco area offering additional undercover outdoor space.”

Cr Habermann said the award-winning facility was the perfect place to host a variety of occasions.

“Whether you are hosting an intimate meeting for 10 or a conference for 1500 delegates the team at the Multiplex knows how to deliver each and every detail in a seamless manner which leads to the ultimate event success,” he said.

The Bundaberg Multiplex Open Day will be held between 9 am and 11 am on Saturday 22 July.

  1. Pity it has no disabled parking on the convention side, only on the PCYC side and the doors through to the Convention area are usually locked, meaning an extra walk back and then right around the building to the Civic Drive entry. A private business would not get away with this.
