Milbi Lunchtime Live and Showcase Concert

Milbi Lunchtime Live and Showcase Concert
During the Milbi Festival, local performers will provide an hour of live music at lunchtime that culminates in a showcase concert.

In the Bundaberg CBD during the Milbi Festival local performers will provide the soundtrack for the community’s lunchtime with an hour of live music, culminating in a showcase concert.

The CBD pavilion will come alive from noon daily featuring talented local musicians, Meleane Havea, Marah Leigh, The Purple Hills Duo and Keely Ellen.

After the final Lunchtime Live performance, the collection of artists will deliver a free Milbi Festival showcase concert at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre.

Council’s Arts, Culture and Events portfolio spokesperson Cr John Learmonth said the community would have the opportunity to enjoy outstanding live music in the CBD before the combined concert.

“The Lunchtime Live artists will then delight audiences for a night of homegrown entertainment in the comfort of the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre,” Cr Learmonth said.

“What better way to start the weekend then to be immersed in a great mix of performances showcasing covers and original songs.”
