Summer fun activities for school holidays
Bundaberg Regional Council’s summer holiday program is jam-packed full of fun activities, including Phantom related events at the Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery.

The Bundaberg Regional Council’s January school holiday program is jam-packed full of fun activities to keep the family entertained.

Holiday makers can explore a variety of events, and most of the activities on offer are free.

Here's some fun things to do during the January school holiday:

Garden Kids Fun!

Pick up your free holiday activity booklet from Cafe 1928 in the Botanic Gardens and enjoy spot the difference, counting, rhyming, match ups and more.

Zoo Keeper Talks

Come along to a keeper talk and discover something new about the wonderful animals that call the zoo home!

Keeper talks are free and do not require bookings.

Kid Phantom

Imaginarts has been turned into a jungle where you will find Kid Phantom and many other characters.

Come and create your own comic strip, draw your own characters, watch an animation or write your own superhero story!

Packed with holiday activities, Bundaberg Regional Libraries are a great way to entertain and educate children of all ages any time of year!

Have fun exploring Gin Gin with a Reading Hunt! Find six signs at nine different locations and enjoy simple activities to improve early literacy skills.

Coastal Crawl

Enjoy an easy stroll along our coastline and observe dune and tidal ecosystems.

Hear what Council’s Natural Areas team and local community volunteers are doing to protect our coastline, marine turtles and shorebirds and learn how you may be able to help.

Guided Tour and Junior Comic Book Art Workshop

Come along and explore Phantom: Off the Drawing Board where we will take you on a guided tour of each gallery space before exploring comic book art through a hands-on workshop.
