The annual Neighbourhood Watch Community Fun Day is promising a relaxed and fun few hours for the whole family this Saturday as it draws together emergency services and other community-based organisations.

The Vet Cross Bundaberg team recently set up at Argyle Gardens Retirement Village and offered free health checks for the residents’ pets, with the goal to make veterinary care more accessible and convenient for retirees.

National Reconciliation Week will be marked in the Bundaberg Region with a flag raising event, library colouring-in activities and a free movie screening at the Moncrieff.

Over the weekend the Bunnings Bundaberg team donned their beanies and armed themselves with barbecue tongs for FightMND - helping to raise vital funds for motor neurone disease (MND).
