Chips take Bundaberg Brewed Drinks to nation

Bundaberg is no stranger to having its name emblazoned across sought-after food and drink and its food bowl reputation is only growing with a new collaboration.

Iconic local brand Bundaberg Brewed Drinks has joined forces with Kettle Chips in a mouth-watering collaboration to launch Bundaberg Ginger Beer Potato Chips.

The limited-edition Bundaberg Ginger Beer Potato Chips are inspired by Australia’s favourite ginger beer and promise to tantalise taste buds and redefine snack time.

The collaboration will help raise the Bundaberg Region's food bowl profile and will be available nationwide from next month.

The new Kettle Bundaberg Ginger Beer Potato Chips are slow-cooked for extra crunch and have a seasoning like no other – sweet with the zesty flavour of real ginger.

Bundaberg Brewed Drinks CEO John McLean said, as an iconic brewer, the local company was very prudent when it came to brand collaborations and taste was the leading driver in the decision-making process.

John said 96% of Australians were aware of Bundaberg Ginger Beer, with its 55-year history, and the number one purchase driver for consumers was great taste.

“We also know that when consumers purchase our brews in-store their baskets frequently include items such as sausages and chips – so when we set out to find our next collaboration, we looked for a product and partnership that made sense for this,” he said.

“We’re committed to delivering the best tasting craft brewed beverages, so we are excited to have partnered with a craft brand like Kettle that shares our passion for great taste.

“With the new Kettle Bundaberg Ginger Beer Chips being a limited release, our goal is to continue treating Australians to the Bundaberg range in a new and exciting format.”

Snackbrands Marketing Director James Deysel said that seeing two great Aussie brands, both deeply dedicated to quality and craft, come together to create something special for summer had been tremendous.

“We hope Aussies love these chips as much as we do,” James said.

The limited-edition Kettle Bundaberg Ginger Beer Potato Chips will be available nationwide in all major Australian supermarkets from early November.

  2. Congratulations to the Fleming family. While holidaying in the area we went to the brewery and tasted the different flavours the brewery had to offer. They were all delicious 😋

  3. These are the BEST flavoured chips I have ever eaten. Now there’s none on the shelves anywhere?
