Warm weather has led to increased snake activity in residential areas across the Bundaberg Region.

Kyle Hancock from Kavs Wildlife Services caught and released two eastern brown snakes at Bargara in 30 minutes on Saturday.

Last week he removed a large brown snake from inside a house at Avenell Heights.

“The snakeman was absolutely brilliant. Was at my place in record time to catch him. Thank you so much Kavs Wildlife Services,” resident Cheryl Dickinson said on Facebook.

David Quarrell was equally pleased that Kav removed a brown snake from his yard and he captured the event on video.

“Kav did an awesome job today with this very energetic eastern brown,” David said.

It was take your wife to work day today Marissa Quarrell did a great job as second camera operator????????.

“Snakes are loving this weather and possibly looking for a drink as well,” Kav said.

“Please leave all relocations to the trained catchers of your region and keep their numbers saved in case you require them.”
